  • Create exchange on Shopify

Each time when an exchange request is resolved, creating an exchange order on Shopify is very daunting for the eCommerce brands.

Simplifying it, we have introduced an automated solution, so every time an exchange request will be resolved, the new order against the exchange item will be automatically created on your Shopify backend. 

Shipway’s panel provides you the option for the visibility of this newly created order at your Shopify store panel.

You can enable the option for visibility at the time of resolution in the given pop-up and the new order will be visible on your Shopify panel with the original Order ID as reference.

  • Automatically reduce inventory at the time of creating exchange on Shopify

Now managing inventory is easy with Shipway, we are providing you an automated solution by which you can manage inventory when exchange orders are created.

All you need to do is mark the decreased inventory option on the Shipway panel and every time a new order is created against the exchange, the decreased inventory will reflect on your Shopify store.

  • Handle discounts on exchange

eCommerce brands will now be able to seamlessly manage exchange orders with discounts or whose prices have previously changed (on discount/sale) through Shipway return automation solution.

There is a wide variety of discounts that are implemented to an item at the time of purchase, such as:

  • Percentage Discount
  • Fixed Amount Discount
  • Free Shipping Discount
  • Buy X, Get Y Discount

At the time of exchange, it is difficult to calculate and manage these discount amounts manually, especially when there is more than 1 line item in 1 order.

Here, Shipway manages the exchange order with discounts by automatically bifurcating the discount amount.

For e.g., 

If a customer purchased 1 item A worth Rs.500 and 1 item B worth Rs.2000 and applied the discount code of Rs.1000 on the total amount of the order. Now if he/she requests item A for exchange due to any reason.

Shipway allows you to easily resolve this exchange request, without the stress of adjustment for discounted amount. It will be automatically bifurcated and exchange will be created accordingly, at the time of resolution.
